As a professional Percussionist and Timpanist, I’ve spent decades searching for the perfect bags and cases—those that combine design, quality, and value. But time after time, I found myself settling for products that didn’t fully meet the demands of a professional Percussionist.
While on tour in Germany, struggling with yet another underwhelming stick bag, I decided enough was enough. That was the moment I decided to create products that would truly meet the needs of musicians like myself—functional, durable, and thoughtfully designed.
In a conversation with a German colleague, the name Schlagkunst was born—reflecting both the craft of percussion and the artistry behind it. From that moment, I set out with two priorities: to offer exceptional value and to produce bags and cases that outperformed anything else on the market.
